Making A Hogwarts Legacy Sequel Is One Of Warner Bros.' "Biggest Priorities"
In the 18 months since its release, Hogwarts Legacy has emerged as one of the biggest hits of Warner Bros. Discovery’s video game division. To date, 24 million copies of the game have been sold across all consoles and PC. Although a follow-up game hasn’t been formally announced, WBD isn’t being ambiguous about its plans. According to one executive with the company, getting a sequel to the Harry Potter-inspired title is at the top of WBD’s wish list.
“[The video game industry] is, just like the film business, a hit-driven business,” explained WBD CFO Gunnar Weidenfels via The Hollywood Reporter. “Obviously a successor to Hogwarts Legacy is one of the biggest priorities in a couple years down the road.”

Modders Behind GTA Re3 Project Are Fighting Take-Two's Lawsuit
After landing on the receiving end of a lawsuit from game publishing giant Take-Two Interactive, a group of modders has decided to fight it out with the company in court. The modders were originally sued for their project, Re3, which reverse-engineered the source code for GTA III and GTA: Vice City, allowing the games to run on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation Vita.

Fortnite Rainbow Royale Is A Celebration Of The Game's LGBTQIA+ Community
Epic has revealed Fortnite Rainbow Royale, a celebration of the game’s LGBTQIA+players. Starting today, July 20, and running for one week, players can jump into Fortnite and find a range of Pride-related in-game items, in addition to a new Creative mode asset and new music from LGBTQIA+ artists such as Lil Nas X and Kim Petras. Movie Tickets Are Just $3 This Saturday For National Cinema Day
To celebrate National Cinema Day this weekend, many theaters across the US are offering $3 tickets. The National Association of Theater Owners (NATO) has announced that tickets to “every movie, every showtime, and every format” will be just $3 this coming Saturday, September 3. Taxes and fees are extra.
More than 3,000 theaters, including 30,000 screens, will take part in the event across the country. The National Association of Theaters Owners’ Cinema Foundation is putting on the event as a “thank you” to fans who turned up at theaters this summer to help reinvigorate the box office.
